A youth-led organization working with communities to create meaningful opportunities for children and young people.
Youth Relief and Development Program (YRDP) is a youth-led organization working with children, young people and communities in Kakuma and Kalobeyei.
Our work focuses on creating practical opportunities for young people to learn, participate, develop leadership skills and contribute positively to their communities.
We believe that young people should not only be beneficiaries of development initiatives. They should also have meaningful opportunities to participate, lead and shape solutions within their communities.
We envision communities where children and young people have opportunities to learn, participate, build relationships, develop leadership and contribute to positive change.
YRDP works alongside communities to create inclusive opportunities through education, sport, leadership development, peacebuilding, disability inclusion and livelihoods.
